Rescue Organizations

The Jasper Veterinary Clinic works closely with two local rescue organizations offering discounted veterinary care: Hinton and District SPCA and The Robson Valley Spay And Neuter Society (RVSNS).  Both associations have been very successful and have made a real difference in their communities.  It takes a lot of hard work, dedication and money.  If you wish to volunteer or donate then please contact either society.  They can always use the help!

Hinton and District SPCA

The Hinton and District SPCA is the only SPCA between Kamloops B.C. and Edmonton AB, which means they serve Jasper, Edson, Hinton, Grande Cache and Yellowhead County. They are a non-profit organization dedicated to dog, cat, and critter adoption and boarding. Their mission is to provide a safe and loving environment for animals in need, offering them a second chance at a happy life. Since 1994, they have been committed to serving the Hinton community by providing local and personalized care to all the animals under our protection.

Robson Valley Spay & Neuter Society (RVSNS)

RVSNS started in October of 2012 to help deal with the problem of feral cats including several colonies in the Robson Valley area. They have greatly reduced the number of feral cats and now also help low income residents spay, neuter, vaccinate and deworm their pets encouraging responsible pet ownership.
