Rescue Organizations

The Jasper & Valemount Veterinary Clinic works closely with two local rescue organizations offering discounted veterinary care: The Hinton And District Spay And Neuter Society (HADSANS) and The Robson Valley Spay And Neuter Society (RVSNS).  Both associations have been very successful and have made a real difference in their communities.  It takes a lot of hard work, dedication and money.  If you wish to volunteer or donate then please contact either society.  They can always use the help!

Hinton and District Spay & Neuter Society (HADSANS)

HADSANS was started in 2014 to help control the rising numbers of feral cats in Hinton. In 2016 alone they spayed, neutered over 120 cats, preventing the potential birth of over 300 feral kittens.  They also try to find forever homes for the kittens and more friendly adults so if you need a cat.....

Robson Valley Spay & Neuter Society (RVSNS)

RVSNS started in October of 2012 to help deal with the problem of feral cats  including several colonies in the Robson Valley area.  They have greatly reduced the number of feral cats and now also help low income residents spay, neuter, vaccinate and deworm their pets encouraging responsible pet ownership.
